Unreal Tournament 2003 requires CD to run

Just picked up a copy of Unreal Tournament 2003 and think it's pretty cool.

However it insists that the 2nd installation CD be present in the optical bay in order to run. Is there any way to defeat this? It's kind of a pain in the butt to have to fish the CD out every time I want to play the game.

The Old UT allowed playing without CD from version 436 onwards. Other games accept a mounted DiskImage instead of the CD. With my PowerBook I've noticed that it is a Good Thing to be able to play games without the CD, since it costs a lot of electricity to access the CD player.
So, either hope an update will fix it for you or try to make a CD image (I think I did this by also making it a read only - CD/DVD master image ... YMMV).

did you try to mount an image with the same name like the UT 2003 CD?
