I have a PB G4 using OS X 10.3 and recently have noticed that I can not send or receive faxes. When trying to do so, I get an error message saying there was a fax software error.
Under network preferences:network port configurations, the internal modem is dimmed and I can not check it to make it active. Furthermore, when I look up my modem under the system profile, it says the "Modem Driver Not Found".
Is there some way to reinstall the modem driver/modem software without completely reinstalling the entire system software, or does this sound like a hardware problem?
I can't find anything listed about modem drivers on the Apple Support Site.
Thanks.
