unwanted user to connect to server

When I 'command + K' from finder to 'connect to server', a username and password is autofilled in the blanks. This person no longer works here and it's an invalid user and pass. I've been told that it's not a server issue but that I can delete this user from somewhere in my machine.
I've tried saving my user and pass to the keychain but it continuously user the other almost by default. Any suggestions? Thanks.
 
You should be using your own account rather than an account belonging to someone else. Using an administrative account, create an account with administrative privileges for yourself if you don't have one. If you already have an account, give it administrative privileges. If your former colleague's account is the only administrative account on the machine, use it for this task. Move all required data files and any needed third-party software to your account. From your administrative account, delete the account of the departed colleague.
