ElDiabloConCaca U.S.D.A. Prime Feb 13, 2009 #2 Purchase a retail copy of Mac OS X 10.4 and install it. Mac OS X 10.4 is no longer sold by Apple, but you can find retail versions of it at various places around the 'net... Craigslist, eBay, Amazon, etc.

nixgeek Mac of the SubGenius! :-) Feb 13, 2009 #3 You could also install Leopard by purchasing it from Apple, which they do have available in their stores. Leopard should run fine on the iMac G5, given enough RAM. This IS assuming you don't need Classic environment, of course.
