Upgrade to Tiger, Can't Find Old Emails

I helped a friend yesterday install Tiger on her iBook. She'd been working in 9.4. We did the Archive and Install and things went well. We can access her Epson printer, but not her scanner. I think I just need to reinstall it.

However, I can't find a way to access the emails in her old Outlook Express account. She had no address book and this were where she kept all her email addresses and correspondence. They must be there somewhere. How can we find them?

If I'm not mistaken, it's all saved in the folder "Microsoft User Data" in her Documents folder (~/Documents). If you have Microsoft Entourage, you should be able to import it in.

If not, then perhaps Apple Mail can import the data. Or you can open Outlook Express in Classic if you have it installed and export from there. (I think you'll need Classic to import into Mail as well, if I recall correctly.)
