Upgrade XFree86 4.1 => XFree864.2

Good day !

I've got XFree864.1 installed in my PB550. I install this
using pre-compiled package. As of now XFree86 just release
version 4.2.

How do I install this new one ? Do I need to remove the
existing one first, or just install 4.2 over 4.1.

And if I wanna build & install ( from source code ) how can
I do it ? ( I've got Developer Tools installed also )

I use Fink to seamlessly install and maintain X.
Yesterday I just installed 4.2 with only a (long) recompile.
