i want to upgrade my hard drive from a 40 to an 80gb or so. i have an external firelite drive, so it seems that all i need to do is get the new disk, put it in the firelite case to have access to it, and use dump or probably even tar to create an exact copy, at least file wise, of my current disk, and then put it into the system.
will that work? is that the best way to do it?
