Upgrading hard drive

I am about to buy a 320GB hard drive. I can get a enclosure and I want to image my internal to the new drive. I am told that Carbon Copy Cloner & Super Duper will not do the job as they will not also duplicate my Boot camp partition. I need an app that will duplicate the entire drive and was recommended CopyCat X. Will it do the job? I also hear of WinClone, and am aware of Disk Utility. My Windows partition is in FAT32 so Winclone may not work, or will it?

Thanks,

John

I know this is a little off your topic... But you may want to check out the Seagate momentus xt. It is a 500gb hybrid drive which means that it has a small 4gb solid state portion which makes it much faster then your typical drive. It's also a 7200 rpm drive with 32mb cache.

I paid $99 for mine and I love it. It is much faster and very quiet without have any noticeable effect on battery life. Mine is in a 2011 13" MBP, works great. Google it for some quick comparisons to standard HHDs and to SSDs.

Good luck, Dave.
