going to london imminently, so i hope i get this answered ASAP.

i want to bring my macbook (black, 2.4 GHz/4GB/250, recent purchase) to london. i was told the plugs (magsafe 60W) "do the conversion" to euro power depending on what the adaptor specs say on the side. but aren't british plugs different from a standard 2-prong? do i need some kind of adapter and if so what kind?

i need something 100% safe and reliable, i don't want to fry my macbook or simply be unable to use it while there.

Or buy one of the world adapter at the airport. Those are typically around $10, but one adapter will do all the world for you.
UK and Ireland use this type of prong, rest of Europe use the 'standard Euro'.

Fortunately all Apple products are auto switching for current, so the UK/Europe 230 V vs US 110 V won't be an issue either.
