USB 2.0 Adapter without using a pc card

I just got a new video ipod 160gb and found out they no longer support firewire. My powerbook has the old usb 1.0 and it is way to slow. I have seen usb 2.0 card adapter but i have a wireless card and do not want to have to swap out cards every time i put music and other files on my ipod.

Are there any other options? Ethernet to USB 2.0? Firewire to USB 2.0?

that does not answer anything because

1. that is not mac compatible
2. that converts firewire to usb which is not what i want to do. im trying to go from usb 2.0 to something else

Before I continue, what are the specs of your powerbook tcindcrz?

As you mentioned, your USB1 port will work but very slowly. If you don't update your iPod very often or can leave it overnight, USB1 should work just fine.

If you can find a mac compatible usb wireless adapter, it would free up your card slot. I have heard there are a couple out there, ( I think d-link used to make one).
I found an article that may help. If you do find one, let me know. I have a couple iMacs that could use one...
