usb cameras. r they "universal"?

i have a logitec usb camera for a pc. would i be able to use that on my mac? i have a g4 450. is it just a matter of getting the correct software? because i don't think they have the drivers for a mac.

You can try a 3rd party driver like http://www.versiontracker.com/moreinfo.fcgi?id=13065&db=mac

It says it works for *some* Logitech QuickCam Express cameras, There are two different types that Logitech has made, and the only way to find out if yours is the supported one is to try it. I have one and it doesn't work, so YMMV.

take you camera to an apple store and plug it in...they have macs up and running all the time, and if your going to buy one, they are more than willing to let you play with the mahines
