I have a Motorola E815 (Verizon) phone and SKN6311B USB cable. I want to transer photo files from my phone to my PowerBook. Can I get the PowerBook to mount the E815 file system over USB? How?
Background:
I can use Bluetooth to sync my addressbook and calendar with the E815 in iSync, but Verizon famously cripples OBEX file transfer in its Bluetooth phones. There are hacks to un-cripple OBEX but they require a PC, they void your warranty and they can fry your phone. So I'm looking into whether file transfer via USB is an alternative. Simply plugging in the USB cable doesn't seem to do it.
