I have an old eMac which i want to sell. There are some very large files on it that i want to move to my macbook. I know i could get a data cable and move them with 'migration assistant' but i would prefer to buy a usb memory stick (as it's something i need anyway) and do it that way. Do you know of one that will work with my eMac? It is still on os x 10.2.8 and i'm having trouble getting one that works on this operating system. Alot of them are only compatible with 10.3 onwards. Can you help?

Not sure if you would get hold of older versions of USB sticks they are now at 16Gb stage. Also not familiar with which OS they do and do not work with. You do not have to do Migration Assisitant but you could use a Firewire cable to link the eMac to the Macbook (hold the T key and start the emac, HD will appear on macbook desktop) and drag drop your lone files over. Then get a more up-to-date USB stick and copy them onto there from the Macbook.
