USB Upgrade

These are the specs for the General Purpose USB Hub on my PowerPC G4 (800 MHz/768 Mb RAM):

Could anyone advice me on how I can upgrade the inbuilt USB Hub to version 2.0?

Being a bit nervous of opening the tower, please assume I know nothing about hardware!

Why not just purchase a PCI USB 2.0 card? There are a few Mac compatible ones out there. That would save you from fubar-ing something on the internal USB hub.

Thats what I did, it took about 30 seconds to install and rejuvenated my ancient G4 sawtooth. It was real cheap too, just over £10.
