Used wrong disc to erase data

I screwed up and used the snow leopard instead of using the ms os install disc when trying to erase my personal data to sell my macbook. then after 2 hours realized I used the incorrect disc I stopped it. Know I have a messed up drive a white screen and I have no idea what to do. Can some one help? Desperate . thanks macbook mid 2007 320 7200rpm hard drive. 2 gb ram

I believe if you boot under the Snow Leopard disk and simply erase via Disk Utility there you go.

Or you can just boot under your Install Disk and do the same thing.

It doesn't matter what version of OS X you use to erase your disk -- the disk is still erased, exactly the same as if you had used a different version.

...unless we're using two different definitions of "erase."
