I have a MAC powerbook notebook G4, MAC OS X 10.3.9. Here is my problem: I had about 2000 songs in my Itunes and then yesterday I wanted to change the name of the user short name from "francoiswiley" to "belladonna". That was before I found out that you couldnt change your user name. I had only one user account, the main one which short name was "francoiswiley". So what I did was click on my MAC HD from my desktop, click on users and rightclick on the icon "francioswiley" with the house icon above it. I then changed the name to "bella donna". Everything seemed to be in order like I had gotten what I wanted...then I turned off my computer, when I turned it back on all my files were gone from itunes and my wallpaper and everything gone. I clicked on the MAC HD again, then on users and I had two files, "francoiswiley" and "bella donna" but the one named "francioswiley" still had the house icon above it and "bella donna" had a folder icon above it. i then tried to copy all the files from "belladonna" and paste it in the folder named "Shared" in my user folder and then paste all the files from "belladonna" into "francioswiley". I restarted my comp...that did not bring my itunes banck. I then plugged in my Ipod which still had then 2000 songs on it and it could not be played.
So my question is:
How do I undo all this damage I have done or atleast get my 2000 songs back in my Itunes?
