User name

I got a showroom piece iMac from a store (coz it cost me 500CND less), but the trouble is that the person who fisrt operated the machine punched in the name "Apple Computer". Now, even though i have created another account with my name in it, my finder window says "Apple Computer's Computer"

Does anybody know of a solution?? HELP!!!!!

Hi,

welcome on board

Go to Applications folder and look for System Preferences, and launch it. Under Sharing change your computer name to whatever you like it to be.

Is "Apple Computer" the name of the hard drive? If so, just change it like any other file name.

No No! It wasnt the name of the hard drive... changing my network name did it!
