I have 10.4.2 server. My ultimate goal is to be able to user Kerberos for my imap and smtp connections.
I have an account, pedz, which is not in the LDAP directory, it is in the Netinfo/DefaultLocalNode directory. I'd like to move it to the LDAP directory.
I've tried setting the password type to "Open Directory" as the manual suggests but now things are really hosed up. I can not switch to 'pedz'. The login window never disappears. So, I'm hoping that switching to the LDAP directory will solve that problem.
