~user site is showing up as Forbidden

Hi,

The Apache server on my 10.3.9 mac seems to be working fine, however, a web site for one of the users on the machine www.mysite.com/~user
is showing up as Forbidden

though the main www.mysite.com site is showing up fine...

any ideas why this might be ?

You should check the permissions on the directory tree leading to the user's docroot. If anything's not readable by the server process, you'll get a Forbidden message.
