Users default directory relocation


I have figured out how to set an individuals "Home" directory to a different location, but is there a way to change where the default Users (system created) directory is.

I set my own account using NetInfo Manager, but it does not seem that there is any way to change the default Users directory.

I have a 6 Gb drive for system use only, and a 75 Gb workspace disk where I would like all accounts to go. I tried doing a virtual link so that any system calls to /Users went to my users directory on the non-system drive, but it will not recognize the correct directory to create a new account, so it didn't funtion correctly.

If anyone knows how to do it functionally, please let me know.
