Using Dave to Print

Hi, I want to use DAVE to print from my brothers iMac running os 9 to my iMac running os 10.1.5. My printer is on USB. It is a HP 812C. The system sees the printer but, the problem is that when I try to print it comes out as lots of letters and numbers (about 5 Pages).

How do I set Dave from Chooser to print correctly?

p.s. The printer prints fine from my comp.

Why do you want to use DAVE, you have 2 macs...

is there a easier way to print from a Mac using Classic to a Mac running 10.1.5? The Printer is on USB and the 2 Mac talk via Ethernet.

In Mac OS X 10.2.x there's printer sharing for USB printers.
