Using Finder to FTP

How can I use the Finder to FTP?

I can connect to my FTP host via Command+K, but I cannot upload files via the Finder this way (even though I entered my Username/Password).
 
There are already several threads on this topic... Do some searching to find them.

I've been using Fetch since 1992, and it still works today. For FTP it is my first choice, but I do look forward to the day that the Finder does this natively...
 
I'm quite aware of Transmit, Fetch and others. I personally prefer the latest version of Fetch, though I used transmit for a while too.

I was just really hoping to use the Finder method as it has all the advantages of the desktop metaphor.

Any particular reason they locked out the ability to make revs via Finder FTP?
 
What are you FTPing to? I administer a Mac OS X Server remotely, and I found the best way was AFP over the Internet, you can use finder and it is better than FTP.
