In OS 9 I used the .hosts files to list domains that I wanted to block by linking them to 127.0.0.1. Ok. In OSX you can use NetInfo Manager to do the same thing, correct? I'm quite sure I've read about it here before somewhere, but can't find it now.
I launch NetInfo Manager and click on the Machines menu in the second list. The domains I want re-routed are listed in the next list and under that i edit info about them. Can someone tell me what I should type or what magic button I have to press to make this function properly? I'm quite sure this worked before but now I'm having no luck at all.
I'm sure you need more info about something, so please ask away.
