using TMachine in the same drive for 2 Macs

Is this possible? To have a drive with one partition and have 2 Macs saving their files (using TM) into two different folders! Might there be a mixup since its one drive?
 
This works fine. I've done it myself. I back up my home machine to an external hard drive, and I occasionally bring home my work machine to back it up on the same drive. It creates a folder for each hard drive inside the folder "backups.backupd". The folders are named after the machines you are backing up.

On one mac, i have 2 drives, one with my works and the other to make a backup. How will i prevent TM to make backup of that 2nd (backup) drive i have on my mac?
 
Have you looked at the Time Machine preference pane at all? It lets you select stuff that won't be backed up.
