using .vmc and .vhd on virtual pc 7

hey everyone,
i already posted a similar question but there was confusion in the way i typed it. does anyone know if i'm able to use .vmc (VM configurer) and .vhd(virtual hard disks) on virtual pc 7. i need to do this to run my project for class. please help.

Virtual hard disks from with Windows 95 installed from VPC 3 work just fine on my copy of VPC 7. Just select your .vhd files as additional drives.

  • Launch Virtual PC.
  • Click the Settings... button.
  • Notice settings for Drive 1, Drive 2, and Drive 3.
  • Click one of them.
  • You should be able to take it from here.
