/usr/bin/open throwing segmentation fault after upgrading to Tiger

Hi there,

Just upgraded to Tiger and now it seems like any command that calls the GUI from the shell is throwing a seg fault. This includes /usr/bin/open and the "mate" binary that comes with TextMate.

Any idea what might be up? Thanks in advance for your time and best regards,

Ben

What shell are you running? I have been running Tiger for a while now, and noticed this problem today after I switched from the Csh shell to the Bash shell using NetInfo Manager. If, after switching, I run a temporary Csh shell (by typing 'csh' at the prompt), the error persists, but when I switch back to the Csh shell permanently using NetInfo Manager, everything is OK again.

No idea why this is happening, but I figure that switching shells might be a workaround.
