One more, for the road!
After a fresh, clean install of OS X updated to 10.4.4, I notice that the keys-
"apple+option+eject", will no longer put my G5 iMac into a sleep state.
This is not a huge issue because it will still sleep from the Apple menu, plus auto sleep works as well.
It's more a case of "a need to know" and curiosity on my part.

Found my problem,
it helps, if after a clean install, to also reinstall 3rd party keyboard drivers.
