UT2004 In Game Voice Chat?

Alright. I am haveing issues with the. It seems that it will allow me to join a channel while in game but I do not get any type of channel or mic verification that stays on my screen. I cannot communicate with other players. I cannot hear what they are saying nor does my mic work for them to hear me. When I press the mic activation button nothing appears on the screen and my sound cuts out while I am holding the button down.

Anyone have any ideas? I have a PowerMac G5 Dual 1.8 and I am using the Sennheiser PC155 USB headset. The headset works fine in my OS and on a Windows computer on TS. So it has to be something with the game.

I have my auto join chat channel on, etc..

Any ideas?

Something I am doing wrong?
 
make sure you are in public or team (P and i?)
see if those work for you
you might also want to try F

and the volume IS supposed to lower when you do this as well as a portrait or green to Red Bars on the left of your HUD
