I have Earthlink DSL via a PPPoe connection. OSX has PPPoe built in, however if i try to connect by clicking the "Connect" button from within the Internet Connect App (configuration: Built-In Ethernet) it will not connect.
The only way I have been able to get a successful connection (I stumbled upon this by mistake) is to select:
Configuration:Internal Modem, then hit "Connect"
Then QUICKLY switch to:
Configuration: Built In Ethernet and then hit "Connect".
This is the ONLY way I can get a successful internet connection via PPPoe.
Any suggestions on a possbile fix to make it work correctly?
