Well, I'm about to connect my iMac 450 DV to my TV and I have found out that there are VGA to SCART converters available. But before I run out to buy this $50 piece of electronics, I'd like to know what to expect in terms of quality. I read in Apple Service Source the following;
"The iMac DV and iMac DV Special Edition computer includes a
port for an external video monitor, so you can mirror, or
show, whats on the computer display to a larger audience.
The external monitor supports only the display sizes that
are available on the internal monitor."
What does this mean when I connect my 15" iMac to a 28" TV through a VGA to SCART adapter? If I have a mpg or avi movie on my iMac with quality good enough to spend two hours of my life on, how will it turn out on the TV?
Any expierience in this matter?
TIA
