Video Camera

Hey everyone,

I was looking for a good video camera and I was wondering if anyone could make any recommendations. It needs to:

1. Be small and light, not a TV size camera

2. Be able to connect an external microphone to it

3. Be good in low light conditions

4. Have a viewfinder not just an LCD screen

5. It needs to be Mac compadible

So any ideas?

MiniDV will give you the best picture without going to HD (expensive), DVD or a hard-drive as capture source. The only Sony camcorder that would fit your needs (for under $1000, in MiniDV) is this (audio input being the main decider). I have had pretty good luck with Sony camcorders, but I have not personally tried that model.
