Video CD does not play on Powerbook

Dear all,
I started using iMovie to edit clips and make a V-CD from it, as prompted by the iMovie menu. However, the once burned V-CD can not be seen on my Powerbook G4. It can be seen though on a regular DVD player.
Is there any way that I can watch the V-CD on my Powerbook ? Do I need a special software ?

The short answer is, yes, you can, but you need additional software (links are in the article).

Go to Versiontracker.com
Download a program called VLC, it will allow you to play vcd's on your powerbook
