VIDEO CONFERENCE

Hi there..... you brave person

I have a G5, conected to broadband and a iSight webcam
I want to have a video conference with a PC user. Early indications are that the PC user needs to run AIM mesanger which is suppose to be compatible with iChat.
My early research indicates that that is not true.

Can you indicate what is is needed & how to make it work.
I am in Australia & would like to conference with anybody ( even an Apple user ) so that I can be certain that my side of the system is in good working order.
I found other platforms such as Sightspeed, Tryfast 2.1 which may be OK.
I have been told that TRILLIAN is the one to use.

I need some guidance & Help.

iChat is compatible with AIM. The PC needs to be running WindowsXP with the latest version of AIM.

I use it almost daily with PC users with no problem.
If using a Firewall or Router, you need to make sure the correct ports are open.

Hi Bob , you gave me an EXCELLENT reply to my question relating to Video Conferencing. I want to thank you & apologize for taking so long in contacting you. Pre X`mas is always a busy time for me. I will be away for holidays for a few days & will try to use my webcam to get it going early in January.
