Virtual Pc 5.0

Ijust bought virtual pc 5.0 but i have no clue how to get it running everytime i set the thing up it says there no os on this hd????? Can some 1 please guide me step by step starting from when i enter a comp name to the end thanks in advance.

Well do you have an OS virtual hard drive ?
Did you buy the update or teh full version ?
The downloadle or the CD ?

Igot the full version but i dont know were the os are

Or just serarch for Virtual PC on a search engine to find other support sites.

If you bought the full version, it should have also installed some sort of "virtual hard drive" with some sort of PC OS... when you buy VPC, it will say on the box which OS it comes with (eg, win98, win2000, red hat linux, etc).

So the message youre getting is that it can't find the virtual hard drive. It should be installed in the same folder as vpc.. although I'm not familiar with version 5 and I'm not sure how it works in OSX or anything... this all comes from experience with version 3.

first create a win 95 virtual drive, then capture the boot floppy to boot up, it only supports fat 16, it is in the extras folder
