I have never used a Mac before. This morning, I was given an iMac running OS X. The XP side has a virus that won't let me login. As soon as I click my profile, I get booted back to the login prompt. It appears to be the userinit.exe file.
If this were a Windows machine, I'd boot to my XP cd and copy over a new file. But since it's not, how do I access the XP desktop through OS X? Is there a way to back off my files? How do I do a system restore to an older date without being able to access the XP desktop?
