i just opened a xvid file with VLC player and it didnt do anything , it just froze again,
then i hear a loud noise in my macbook going louder and faster, so i checked activity monitor and see VLC using 190% of CPU...!! (it was red too btw).. so i killed and the noise went quiet...

what happened? and did it almost blow my stuff up or something?
im worried !!:(

Guess the XviD file was a little hard to decode. 190% of CPU is nothing wrong, since you have two cores. What you heard was the fan kicking in and getting louder: Normal when the Mac Book has to do a lot of things. Just try to open the file in VLC again. And no, it _won't_ blow up your CPU.

hehe thanks,
sorry i got a little worried, i figured out after i posted that 200% is max since i got dual core (doh)

im so paranoid about this thing! prolly cause i spend all my money on it.. (1400 $ cash), never had that much money in my pockets before i went to the apple store last week, pff
