Would someone be prepared to video chat with me just the once so I can test whether I can do this succesfully using iChat 2.1 on my computer?

I am having difficulty setting up a video link with a colleague in Canada. We can't work out whether the problem is with my computer or his iMac.

I think I may have a problem with port access, but I am not sure.

I'll get my compatriot in Toronto to check his router and ports.
 
The following ports need to be open for iChat to work correctly:

Single port - 5060 UDP
Single port - 5190 TCP
Port Range - 13403-16384 UDP

You can check if the ports are open by adding the port number to this URL after the equal sign:
