Hi...my copy of Virex 7.5 is corrupted and a process called VShieldCheck is hogging over 50% of CPU time. How do I delete this app? I cannot find it via Spotlight or whatever? I am running a Powerbook G4 867 MHz running 10.4.2.

Thanks!

Scott

Quit the process via Activity Monitor, and then use the Uninstall script that comes with the Virex download to uninstall (might have to redownload it again).

Hi all. I just wanted to say Thanks! for this posting!!! I really needed it and it helped me the moment I found it. I can't belive that stupid little daemon was taking up SO much of my processor power! What a joke. Thanks again & see ya around!
