VST Floppy

OK guys this one has puzzled me for some time now .... My psychology teacher told me his VST Floppy worked fine with OS X he just plugged it in and it worked .... when i plug mine in it lights up sounds like its reading the disk but i see no floppy in the computer window ... help guys :\

how many disks have you tried?
What version of x are you using?
Can you try your floppy on another computer?
floppy works fine for me.

hmm..i haven't used mine in so long i can't remember the details but i know it works. you might have to have classic launched as the extensions are there plus it is usb. i always had classic launched at the point of time where i used mine last. I don't even keep it plugged in anymore. if i get some time soon, perhaps i will plug in and check it for you.

i have tried numerous other floppy works fine in os 9 im using 10.1.5 it just won't show the disk ... don't actually know if it's working or not is there any way to actually force the disk to mount using the terminal?
