W2K share doesn't show new files

OK, what am I doing wrong...

I've done "connect to server" in Finder
typed in the IP address and share name
authenticated
got the icon on my desktop
opened it and seen the files
BUT
when I add any files into the shared folder on the w2k machine my mac doesn't see them unless I disconnect and reconnect?

I guess I'm looking for the Mac equivelent of F5-Refresh

This must be limited to OS X's SMB-mounting abilities, because if you go into the Terminal, and mount an SMB share from there, every single time you do an 'ls' it'll give you a true listing of everything there.
