wanted: QUAKE III arena

You wouldn't want the Linux version would you?
Got that in a tin package... looks neat but haven't been able to use it in ages! :D
 
All you have to do is install the OSX latest point release. Then copy the pak0.pk3 from the CD to the hard drive.

Even with a windows cd you'll have to do this. If there is a quake3 cd for mac os x it'll probably be a lot more expensive than a regular windows version.

Installation Instructions:

1. Run the 1.32 installer. This puts 1.32 in /Applications/Quake3
2. Run the PunkBuster installer (now located in /Applications/Quake3)
3. Copy pak0.pk3 from the Quake3 CD /baseq3 directory to /Applications/Quake3/baseq3
4. If you have the mission pack: Copy pak0.pk3 from the missionpack CD /missionpack directory to /Applications/Quake3/missionpack

Patch System Requirements:
Mac OS X
Full retail version of Quake III: Gold or Quake III: Arena
Rage 128 or better video card

I've got a copy sitting here next to me. I don't every play it, and i lost it's box. But other than that it's perfectly good and even comes with a valid sn. :D
 
I've got the same, its actually Quake III Gold, which includes Quake III Team Arena, as well as Quake III Arena itself. It's in the box too ;) Drop me a line at wyatt@pin-grid.com if you're interested, I'm asking about $20 plus shipping and handling.
