Warranty on iPOD

I have been hearing that the iPOD only has a 90 day warranty. Can anyone else confirm or deny this. It would be a major turn off if apple wont support the product for at least a year.

When i brought my sony mini-disc player it came with 3 years warranty.

iPod also includes a CD-ROM with iTunes 2 software and electronic documentation, a getting started guide, and a 90-day limited warranty.

Only 90 days??? I guess that's becaue Apple knows that the hard drive in it will be destroyed by shocks and shaking after some time
