WebCore glitch?..

octane

I have issues, OK!
Since I updated Safari to version 1.2, I've noticed some odd rendering issues.

First off, if I load a link whereby the page content is wider than the window, then the page is centered as I've scrolled the page a little to justify it.

The same thing is happening with Mail, only if I've got an attachment, the name and icon appear as though there's a second name and file just above it but a few pixels off.

It makes sense that this bug would be to do with WebCore since both Safari and Mail use it.

Anyone else seeing this?..

Haven't upgraded to 1.2 yet, so I'm not seeing anything weird... why don't you let us see what you're seeing with a screenshot?

Hmm... that kind of reminds me of the graphics glitches I get in Safari when I scroll a page while it or another page is still loading. Does it go away when you switch to a different application (one that covers the Safari screen) or minimize the window?

Sometimes, the page will redraw itself and the overlapping nonsense will go away. Other times, you have to select the content on the page for it to resolve the redraw.

So far, the Safari snafu is limited to me using this forum...
