Weird color in iphoto

I'm having color issues with iphoto and msn messenger on my mac mini. My photos seem to be missing the entire red spectrum, resulting in a horrible green hue. Also, any photo thumbnail is completely saturated and impossible to see. I've tried everything,

How's your monitor doing, if you're using a CRT, like I am (I love my deep blacks) Your monitor might be at the end of the rope, if you're using an LCD like most people these days, try recalibrating it. If both of these are okay, well, I don't know what to tell you.
 
I have a new LCD screen and I've tried recalibrating it...
the weird thing is that everything else in every other program looks normal, it's just iphoto and msn!
