I have the subject external hard drive with both Firewire and USB 2.0. A few weeks ago the power cord came loose while the drive was booting up and now my computer (or any computer [pc or mac]) won't recognize it. I've tried DiskWarrior and Data Rescue but nothing works. Strangely enough, nothing is recognized through the USB port, but sometimes I get a reading from the Firewire Port. Strangely enough, Data Rescue recognizes a 2 Terabyte hard drive but doesn't see any info. When I plug it in to my computer (a Powerbook 15-inch, 1.67) the lights on the drive go on, but nothing else. The drive doesn't seem to make any noise, not even the "click of death". I'm running Tiger OSX.
