What can the iPod stand?

I notice Jobs said in his keynote that the iPod has a 20 minute a-shock so I could take it mountainbiking or running and whatnot.
Also, there was a thread in here about one falling to the ground a few times, and not taking damage.

I wanna take it snowboarding.
Can it take the cold, or would that damage it?
If it should happen to get wet...will that damage the iPod?

Took my Ipod Snow Skiing for a day last week ....no problems.

Battery does seem to discharge a bit faster when the ipod get cold but this will happen with most batteries..did not get it wet. I kept it in a neoprene sun glass case in my coat most of the day...did not get wet.

...Going on a snow skiing vacation a week next week (Jan 28)
I'll report back...

BTW , it did skip even once...cool :)

missed this post!
I just made an other thread about this....

I left mine in the car (too early in the season -
might fall on it :)

Yeah, the cold sucks the battery.

if you are worried about it getting wet,
put it in a ziploc. You can't really use
the jog wheel, but I can easily stop/start
and nav/ff/rew songs while my iPod is
in my pocket, from the outside.
