At home 56k (which I am not home that much)
My office computer has 10 baseT ethernet ;) (which I am on more than home these days :p)

i wish AT&T would give me my cable back... now i gotta wait until wednesday... thank god they're giving 2 days free for every day not on the service...

At home I'm on a 10 Mbit downstream, 256 Kbit upstream connection ... I noticed my max speed dropped some 50 Kbs ever since my upstream decreased from 768 to 256 ... I think there's a connection, I still get maximum speed on Backbone servers of my ISP (Tucows for example)

56k at home dialing to Penn State, then 10baseT badly wired network here on campus wired to a T3. U-Park, I hear, is all 100 Base-T and AirPort!

I have a 56K modem. I would have DSL except Earthlink is being lazy about getting it to new areas, they say they add new support every week but I see no changes for over a year  Well, my area code is changing so hopefully I get support then, maybe

C'mon Earthlink! I want my DSL and I want it bad, I'm tired of this 56K (turtle) modem and waiting forever for a 2Mb download!

Have a great day ;)

Albert

going to dsl from 56k changed my lifestyle. i can't imagine ever going back. Now the only real time i spend waiting on anything is when running diagnostic and repair utilities and/or rebooting.
