Hello,
I just upgrade my G3 beige under Jaguar (Mac OS X 10.2.8).
I have problem with my Canon BJC 4650 printer. It is connected at serial port for printer (and my ADSL modem is connected at serial port for phone) because Canon BJC 4650 printer have a serial interface.
When I start under Mac Os 9.2.2, there is no problem to print any job.
When I start under Jaguar, my printer is not recognized by the printing center. When I launch an application under Classic, my printer do'nt walk. If I open Selector in Apple Menu and select the icon of BJC 4650 or BJC 4650 Server, it is impossible to select a serial port because the two icons of printer port and phone port were invisible.
There is no official Canon Printer driver for the BJC 4650 (or 4550) but I think there is some users, they found a solution.
I am searched on the web and it seems the Linux devellopers have a solution with the GIMP-project. However I have some difficulties to understand english and if somebody have a good solution of my problem and can help me, I will very happy.
Best regards.
Jean-Marie
