What HD can i put in my mac

I have a western digital internal hd sitting in my room that i took out of a P1 dell. i was wondering how i could tell if i can put it in my G5 as a 2nd hd? and if i cant put this one in it, what do i look for when shopping around online?

G5s use Serial-ATA hard drives. You will need a SATA-PATA adapter cable. In my mind, you would be better served buying a new HD though.
