what is the best web browser for mac os x

I am buying a iMac for my mom who knows little about computers. I only know about PCs. What is the best web browser for top of the line iMac running mac os x? also what is the best mp3 player for playing shoutcast music? thanks a ton!!

The best browser is undoubtedly OmniWeb, no matter what anyone else says.

(P.S. Chimera is too alpha to be useful. )

Anyway, you should probably just use iTunes if you want to use a good MP3 player. It's served me very well, and I'm sure it will for you, too.

supermonkey: Just open up iTunes (should be installed with any new Mac, or else go to http://www.apple.com/itunes to download it), and then select "Open Stream..." from the "Advanced" menu, or press Command-U. Then just type in the URL of the stream, and it should prebuffer and start playing.

It kills me to say this, but you probably should start with OmniWeb if you want to really get into Aqua. You have to be pretty dedicated to stick with Chimera at this early stage.
